What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at St Mary the Virgin Church by 12:15 to allow time for you to be seated before the ceremony begins at 12:30.
Is there parking at your wedding?
There is limited parking available at the church on Church Lane, we recommend arriving early to avoid any last minute stress. We ask for you not to park directly outside the church.
At Sprivers there will be plenty of parking available, and vehicles can be left over night. We’ve been asked to ensure all vehicles have been collected by midday on Sunday 5th May.
What happens after the ceremony?
As you’d expect, we’ll be sticking around for a few photos outside the church before taking the short journey to Sprivers Mansion by car. We’re expecting the journey to take between 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. The most direct route will be to take the A21 northbound.

Festivities continue at Sprivers Mansion throughout the afternoon and evening.
What time should I book a taxi for?
If you’re leaving your vehicle at Sprivers and intend to stay until the end of the night, we recommend booking your taxi for 23:45.
Weather
What will the weather be like?
We’re hoping for sunshine! For the weather watchers out there, the historical average for the 4th May is 15ºc. Last year there was sunshine and hit the mighty heights of 20ºc. Fingers crossed for more of the same!
It’ll be sensible to have an extra layer for the evening, but we recommend another drink (or two) and some dancing if you’re getting chilly.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony will take place at St Mary the Virgin church in Salehurst.
The reception will be held in a Boutique Marquee at Sprivers Mansion, so we’ll be under cover if the weather doesn’t stick to the plan. If the weather forecast is looking chilly we’ll make sure we have a heater in the marquee.
Dress Code
What should I wear?
The dress code for our wedding is formal. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie.
We will be outside in the afternoon for the drinks reception. The meal and evening celebrations will be in a marquee, so you may want to bring an additional layer to keep you warm.
Dietary Requirements
Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?
